Handcrafted in Italy, the front pocket is skillfully fashioned from salvaged materials, specifically sourced from discarded kitesurfing sails, capturing the adventurous spirit of winds across global seas. The ensemble is seamlessly united by unmistakable triple zigzag stitching, applied with precision to mend and harmonize the diverse colors of the sails. Ripstop Nylon
Reinforced double threads spread across the fabric to form strong grids, allowing superior strength against tears and wear.
48g / 1.6oz Per Square Meter weight, 40D ripstop nylon is made with high tenacity nylon yarns to have high strength in lightweight. The optimal strength-to-weight ratio for fast and easy outdoor carry.
The PU coating protection layer applied on the nylon ripstop to reinforce the fabric to be:
- Water repellent: dispel water from the surface and keep the inside dry, withstanding bursts of short showers, drizzle, spray, and splash to keep the inside dry. It supports quick-dry after soaking.
- Windproof/airtight
- Lower stretch: fabrics retain in good shapes, avoiding deforms especially after heavy loading, washing, folding.
Recycled Organic Cotton
The use of recycled cotton already allows for saving valuable resources compared to virgin organic cotton.
Furthermore, compared to conventional virgin cotton, the savings are even greater: every kilogram of recycled yarn corresponds to a saving of 20,000 liters of water, 200 grams of pesticides and fertilizers, 2.7 grams of dyes and chemicals, in addition to reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
